10 Reasons My Son Has an Awesome Life

by Eve on March 19, 2012

This week’s Monday Listicle is the kid edition. Stasha said we should list ten reasons why being a child is great, or why it is not. Since Saturday is Handsome’s second birthday (like woah!), this topic is totally fitting. This kid has a pretty awesome life, I must say. He’s not big on the talking right now, but I’d be willing to bet he’s happy with his life so far.

10 Reasons My Son Has an Awesome Life

1.) He has a super fantastic mama and a crazy silly dad.

2.) Someone bathes him and wipes his butt so he doesn’t have to.

3.) He has his own room filled with toys and books galore.

4.) He is hand-fed certain foods so that his highness’ hands don’t get dirty.

5.) Grandma & Grandpa from Washington send him the BEST presents.

6.) He gets an unlimited amount of hugs and kisses from his parents.

7.) He often gets to snuggle to sleep with his mama.

8.) People burst out clapping when he actually uses utensils to eat instead of just his hands!

9.) Dad buys him a donut every Saturday.

10.) His beautiful, smart and funny mama created this blog to share his handsomeness with the world.

So tell me, what makes your kid’s life so awesome?

P.S. I’m looking for more cool kids to sit at the Cool Kids table. Fill out the form if you’re interested in being featured here!

HA! Yeah, I think they would. My hubby is so weak when it comes to allowing Handsome sweets. He always gives in.

What a great list. Donuts every Saturday? I’m moving in :) Don’t worry, I won’t tell my kids. They would just follow me.

He is very handsome and I hope he has a fantabulous birthday. I loved the comment about clapping when he eats with utensils. We did something like that for our first child and our encouragement was so over-the-top, we scared the poor dickens and he burst into tears.

Awe, thankfully my boy doesn’t freak out when we clap! But…I did freak him out when I started crying the first time he said “lub you” to me. As a result? He hasn’t said it again. Ha!

That’s the rock star’s life.

A doughnut EVERY Saturday? That’s the high life, man :-)

And I believe that the global currency should be hugs & cuddles. My kids would be rich.

Donuts every Saturday – what a great life! :) Wonderful childhood memories in the making right there. And Grandparents are the best, aren’t they?

Someone wipes his butt! That’s hilarious! Now that I think of it, that was awesome. The next time someone will whip my butt I’ll probably be knocking on death’s door…. How despressin’!
