As you probably noticed (at least I hope you noticed), I took a little blogging break recently. I was on a blogging hiatus because I flew to Washington to scope out rental houses for us. Yay moving!
Now that I’m back in blogging mode, I can share photos of our new home with you.
First up, the kitchen. Cute, right? It has loads of cabinets, all custom-made with slow-closing drawers, lazy susans, and an awesome pantry with pull out bins.
“SHUT UP!” Yeah, I literally said that to the realtor when I saw the lazy susans in the cabinets next to the stove. You mean I don’t have to sort through 172 cans when all I really needs is that illusive can of tomato sauce? Yeah. That’s awesome.

Our Massachusetts house is a super-sized townhouse with no yard and a tiny one-car garage. The new house is smaller (as you can see from the living room pic below), but has a huge back yard, a good-sized front yard and an oversized garage.
Plus? A fireplace, which I totally had on my “want” list for the new house. Yay!

And remember how I used to cry my eyes out about Handsome not having a yard in which to play? Well that will be a thing of the past once we make the move to Washington.
This pic does NOT do the yard justice, let me tell you! The yard is HUGE, plus there’s a covered patio to the right and a big front yard to match.

It was stressful to look for a house online, see a gazillion houses in just two days, and then decide on one ASAP. But overall? I’m one happy mama with the decision we made.
I must give a big shout out and THANK YOU to my awesome sisters for driving me all over Puget Sound to find this little gem of a house. You guys are crazy, annoying, and awesome all at the same time.
And I can’t forget my gorgeous nieces Jasmine and Jessica, for watching Handsome, taking him swimming, and even putting him to bed for me so I could get some much-needed sister time with the girls. You little ladies are the BEST!
So, what do you all think of our new house? Leave a comment and let me know!
Hugs,

The yard really is my fave part for sure. Traveling back and forth from Boston to Seattle? Um, no I won’t be doing that. LOL! We’re making the official move in a few weeks. I can’t wait!

I’m loving it! My kitchen is similar to your new one and the lazy susan right by the oven is awesome. Plus, you will love the yard. The best decision I have made recently was to put grass in our backyard for the kids to play on.

How exciting for you. I was sucked in on Facebook waiting for your big announcement. I loved it. The pacific northwest is awesome. I am in love with it. We vacationed there and were packing our bags. But alas settled for our little piece of heaven in so cal canyon. The fireplace is it woodburning or a stove? Congrats close to family important and fun for handsome.
